The semi-custom guide
Everything you need to choose the right line, understand your options, and build a made-to-order bar with confidence.
Which semi-custom line is right for you?
Both lines are real cold process soap, made to order in the USA. The difference is how much you want to customize.
Still deciding?
Choose White Label for the most flexibility and lowest starting minimum.
Choose Artisan for a more designed bar with fewer decisions.
Bases
The base is the blend of oils and butters at the heart of the bar. It shapes how the soap feels, lathers, and wears. All three are cold process, so you’re choosing character, not quality.
Everyday
Our most versatile base: palm, coconut, sunflower, olive, and castor oils. Made for balanced lather, clean finish, consistent batch to batch. The one we recommend for a dependable bar with broad appeal.
Olive oil + shea butter
A richer step up with a creamier feel: shea butter added to olive, palm, coconut, and castor oils. A strong choice when you want a more elevated bar without going fully custom.
Premium
Our most indulgent blend: avocado and olive oils, shea, kokum, and mango butters, with coconut, castor, and jojoba. Built for a richer, more conditioning bar with a luxury-leaning finish.
Bar sizes
White Label bars are available in five sizes, all 1 inch deep. Larger bars have more weight and a higher per-bar cost, so size comes down to feel, price point, and use case. Custom sizes are available through Full Custom. Artisan bars come in one set size.
Packaging
Choose the packaging option that best fits how the bars will be sold, gifted, stored, or finished on your end.
Shrink wrap
Shrink wrap
Each bar arrives individually shrink-wrapped, protected and retail-ready.
Naked bars
Naked bars
Unwrapped bars for customers handling packaging in-house or using their own wrap, band, box, or fulfillment process.
White box
White box
A simple boxed option for a clean, ready-to-label presentation.
Note: we supply the boxes but don't pack the bars into them, so bars and boxes ship separately for you to box on your end.
Artisan packaging
Artisan packaging
Artisan bars come shrink-wrapped or naked. The decorative swirl top means no box option.
Custom printed boxes
Custom printed boxes
Need custom printed boxes? We partner with a U.S.-based packaging company, YBS Packaging, that produces them to die lines cut for our soap sizes, a separate service we'll walk you through (we help source packaging but don't develop artwork).
How quantities work
White Label quantities are based on three pour sizes: loaf, slab, or block. You’ll choose your bar size first, then select the quantity tier that fits your order. The formula and bar stay the same at every tier. Larger pours simply give you more bars at a lower per-bar price.
Loaf
Loaf is your starting minimum, about 9 to 21 bars depending on size.
Slab
Slab gives you a larger run, about 49 to 152 bars.
Block
Block is the bulk tier, about 320 to 950 bars, with the best per-bar price.
Choose the tier that fits, or add multiple units of the same tier.
Exact bar counts and pricing are shown on the product page as you build your order.
Pricing and minimums
Semi-custom pricing is tiered by quantity, so the per-bar price decreases as volume increases. White Label starts at one loaf, about 9 to 20 bars depending on size. Artisan starts at a 48-bar set. Some options, like premium bases or custom packaging, add a per-bar surcharge shown before checkout.
Samples
We do not offer individual samples for White Label or Artisan bars. These lines use proven formulas and are made to order once purchased. For custom development, sampling is part of the R&D process and starts with a $500 deposit credited toward the first order.
